A program titled “Kasa Samvada” was organized on 22 May 2025 at Harekala Malar Anganwadi Centre, Harekala. The objective of the initiative was to create awareness among the community about waste management, recycling, and environmental protection at the grassroots level.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Nagaraj Bajal, Manager, Hasiru Dala, Mangaluru. He explained various methods of waste segregation, the harmful effects of plastic usage, and techniques for preparing compost from household organic waste. He also emphasized the importance of individual responsibility in maintaining a clean and sustainable environment.
