The HER Summit 2026, jointly organized by JCI Mangaluru Samrat, Rotary Mangalore Downtown, and Swastika National Business School, was held on 08 March 2026 at Swastika Waterfront, Mangaluru, in celebration of International Women’s Day. The event was graced by JFS A. Manikandan, National Vice President, Area C, JCI India, as the Chief Guest, along with several distinguished guests and women leaders from diverse professional fields. A key highlight of the summit was the panel discussion on “NextGen Women: Handling Career,” featuring Mrs. Geetha D. Kulkarni, Assistant Commissioner of Police, City Crime Record Bureau, Mangaluru; Mrs. Komal Prabhu, Managing Director and Head Chef, Maharaja Family Restaurant, Mangaluru; Dr. K.T. Shwetha, Founder and Clinical Psychologist, Ayurveda Foundation, Mangaluru; and Dr. Nagaveni Manchi, Retired Kannada Professor, P. Sathisha Pai Government First Grade College, Mangaluru. The summit also included a motivational Power Talk by RJ Nayana of 92.7 Big FM and engaging outbound activities. The programme provided a platform to discuss women’s empowerment, leadership, career development, and resilience while inspiring participants through shared experiences and insights. The event contributed to SDG 5 – Gender Equality by promoting equal opportunities, women’s leadership, empowerment, and inclusive participation in society and the workplace.
