The District Health and Family Welfare Department, Mangalore in Association with the NSS unit of Swastika National School organised a COVID Vaccination Drive for the students, faculty members of Swastika National School and the public on 16 July 2021. Ms Jayalakshmi Shetty, the Corporator of Ward No. 26 and Mr Ganesh Kulal, the Corporator of Ward No. 25 were the chief guests for the day. Dr Ilango and two other nursing staff were present on the day. Overall, 70 members got vaccinated.
