Department of Social Work in association with Spandana Trust, Jeppu, organized a two-day summer camp titled “Cross the Bridge to New Horizons” on 7 and 8 April 2025. The camp aimed to provide students with experiential learning opportunities and personal development through interactive sessions and activities.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Rtn. Ganapathy Shenoy, President of Rotary Mangalore Downtown, who served as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour were Sr. Floriane Pias, Administrator of Spandana Trust, and Mr. Naveen Paul, CEO and Co-founder of DrawMyCareer, Mangalore.
The camp featured Mrs. Preethi Shettigar, Life Skill Trainer and Assistant Professor at Swastika National Business School, and Ms. Deeksha Devdiga, Soft Skill Trainer and Lecturer at Swastika National Business School, as the resource persons. They conducted engaging and insightful sessions that helped participants develop essential skills and boost their confidence. Their activities encouraged students to think creatively, work collaboratively, and approach challenges with a positive mindset.
