The Department of Commerce and Management of Swastika National Business School organized the eighteenth edition of its interactive series “Samvada” on 21 May 2025. The session focused on the theme “Blockchain Technology: Understanding Cryptocurrency and Other Digital Assets.”
The experts, Mr. Sumanth N. Bhat and Mr. Upendra V. Shenoy, provided in-depth insights into the rapidly evolving digital financial landscape. They explained the fundamentals of blockchain technology, its applications in accounting and finance, and the functioning of cryptocurrencies and various other digital assets. The session also highlighted the importance of digital literacy and ethical practices in handling virtual financial instruments.
Students actively interacted with the resource persons and clarified their doubts regarding blockchain mechanisms, investment safety, and the legal framework governing digital currencies in India.
