Swastika National Business School organized Faculty Development Programme CRAFT #2 – Creating a Resourceful, Accomplishing, and Fascinating Teaching and Learning Experience, on 16 May 2025 at Swastika Waterfront, Sultan Bathery, Mangaluru.
The FDP aimed to equip faculty members with innovative pedagogical tools, effective instructional strategies, and adaptive teaching methods to enhance classroom engagement and student learning outcomes.
The inaugural session began with a warm welcome to the dignitaries and participants. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Brian Fernandes, Director of Spearhead Pvt. Ltd. and Chairman of the ISTD Mangalore/Udupi Chapter. The Chief Guest, Sri Ranjan Bellarpady, Chief Coordinator of Ramakrishna Mission – Swaccha Mangaluru Abhiyana, spoke about the role of educators as catalysts for social transformation and ethical leadership.
The resource person for the workshop was JFS Santhosh Kumar P., an International Life Skill Coach and Mentor, and 2010 JCI India National President. With over 27 years of experience and more than 2300 training sessions conducted globally, he facilitated engaging sessions on creative pedagogy, leadership communication, and integrating life skills into teaching.
The programme concluded with an interactive feedback session and words of appreciation from the faculty participants.
