The inauguration of the 2-Days Effective Public Speaking Workshop conducted by NSS Unit of Swastika National School was held on Friday, 29/1/2021. Mrs. Sowmya Shetty, NSS Officer, welcomed the gathering. Mr. M.A.Nataraj, ACP, Mangalore, inaugurated the program and said, “Today’s students should not limit themselves in scoring marks, but also should be successful in the challenges of Life”. He said that such workshops should be utilized to increase self-confidence. Mr. Prasanna Tenesiri, Assistant General Manager, Karnataka Bank, addressed the event. Similarly, Mr. Ramachandra Bhandarkar, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Mangalore SEZ Limited, and Dr. Sukanya Rao, Financial Services Professional, addressed the gathering and urged the students to make use of such workshops to develop their speaking skills. Mr.Satish Bhat Bilinele & Dr. Raghvendra Holla were the 2 eminent resource persons of the EPS Workshop. Mrs. Rajeshwari D. Shetty, Principal of the college greeted the participants of the workshop. Students actively participated in the 2 days event by involving themself in various activities conducted by the resource persons and good feedback was also received from the students regarding the event. During the valedictory, students who had performed well in the 2 days event were awarded. Abhin S. Gowda, the secretary of NSS, rendered gratitude.
