Swastika National School has taken up the initiative of starting a new series called My journey, In my Way wherein notable young achievers are invited to share their experiences and achievements in their journey of life. The main motive of this series is to encourage and inspire our students for self-development. The first series was held on 20 January 2022 with Mr Sahill Zaheer, an International Host being presented as a Young Achiever. The second episode of My journey, In my Way was held on 5 February 2022 with Ms Sameeksha, a transgender. Along with her, Ridhi Shetty and VidyaAkki, also took part in the session. All the students were inspired by the sharing of these marginalised people who have boldly faced the challenges of life. Dr Raghavendra Holla, Chairman hosted the session. Dr Malini N Hebbar and all other faculty members were present. Dr Reshma G Ullal,who work for Jalasiri Project in SUEZ India as PRO has taken the transgender community as the subject for her Ph.D. shared with the students salient features of her research work.
