The Department of Social Work organized a Community Outreach Programme titled “Empower Your Choices” on 26 May 2025 at Tripta Foundation De-Addiction and Rehabilitation Centre, Kankanady, Mangaluru. Conducted in association with Tripta Foundation, the initiative aimed to promote awareness on decision-making, personal empowerment, and positive lifestyle choices among the residents of the centre.
The session was facilitated by Ms. Varshitha, a III BSW student, who delivered an engaging and insightful presentation on the importance of self-awareness, resilience, and informed choices in overcoming addiction and leading a balanced life. The programme was coordinated by Shivani, Dhanuja, and Gagan, students of BSW, under the guidance of the Social Work faculty.
