In association with Yedapadav Grama Panchayath, III BSW students organized a Community Outreach Programme on Women and Child Rights on 25 April 2025 at Yedapadav Grama Panchayath. The initiative aimed to raise awareness among the local community about gender equality, child protection, and legal rights.
The session was conducted by Ms. Sowjanya, Programme Coordinator at IncharA Foundation, Shivabagh, Mangalore. She highlighted key aspects of women’s safety, legal protections, child welfare laws, and the role of communities in preventing discrimination and abuse. The programme was coordinated by Varshitha, Madhumita, Divya, and Laxmi of III BSW as part of their academic and social responsibility initiatives.
